Using fltk3 at this stage is not necessarily a good idea either - it is still 
in alpha and the underlying API's will certainly change before we release it as 
stable. (And we do not know when that will be.)

For now, the *only* safe platform is fltk-1.3, and you should be using that.

Note that fltk-1.3 was developed much later than fltk-2, and has far fewer bugs 
and issues in it.
