No idea. Show us some minimal, compileable, code that exhibits the fault so that we can investigate. Probably closing the first window in the button callback is the problem, if that is what you are doing, since that may leave unreferenced widgets. This is discussed in the documents, including approaches that allow this to be done safely, so make sure you have followed that advice properly.
