Not enough information, trying to help anyway... Try adding (or using instead) redraw_label() which would draw the label even outside your box (if this is the case). If this doesn't help, try parent()->redraw(). Otherwise, please show us more of your widget hierarchy and geometry. It should simply work, if your label is inside the box... One more question: what does "not immediate" mean?
