I can't see why not: you could at least post an STR with the info on it, that
in itself might be useful to others.

There were STR's open for some of these theme's, so if you have revised
patches, feel free to add them to the STR's, that way others might be able to
find them!

Yes, I think there's a good chance that Micha's latest patch should work for
you, though you might need to fiddle with it to make sure the "compiler
personality" is identified suitably!

I think the directfb patch is pretty much orpahned, though likely the code
still works.
Wayland (or indeed Mir) might be worth a look, but I don't think anyone has
tried: I'd assume in the first instance we'll depend on the X11 emulation in
{Wayland|Mir} to get up and running anyway...
