I've had some more reports of Access Denied messages from the wiki. This time I've done some more thorough investigation into the problem and found several entries in the log to this effect: "[IP ADDRESS] found using DNSBL 27.151.189.85.sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org", which looks to me like the IP has been flagged as a spammer by one or more blacklist websites. Our wiki software, Instiki, seems to block anyone who's IP address has been blacklisted. If you're seeing "Access Denied", then please check this website: http://whatismyipaddress.com/staticpages/index.php/is-my-ip-address-blacklisted If any of the sites returns a red dot, then you're blacklisted with them. Ideally you need to contact the particular companies and follow their procedures for getting your IP unlisted; however, you will have been listed because a machine on your IP was either sending spam or found to be infected, so you should probably investigate those possibilities too (or get your network/systems guys to look into it if you're at work).
I'm reluctant to remove the spam checking for fear of having to constantly monitor the wiki, so far since it's been up we've received ZERO spam with it on; however, if this issue persists I may have to look at doing so.
