To my knowledge, no, you can't. It's like the quest of the alchemists of old 
trying to transmutate other metals into gold. 

There are other strategies you could experiment with, like deleting the A and 
then inserting the B/C, or using composition instead of inheritance. 

If you find out otherwise and it CAN be done, I'd love to know, too!
