Hi everyone. The wiki has become an important communication tool, but needs some reorganization to be even more effective. Jess has asked me to start looking at ways we can improve the wiki to make it more approachable and useful for a newcomer to the project.
The scope of this task is not to completely gut and change the wiki, rather it is to make sure that important information relevant to visitors and newcomers is more prominent and relevant. The wiki will be part of their first impression of the project, so we should make sure we can give them the information they need. So with that in mind, in the coming days I will likely ask some of you questions about various sections of the wiki and solicit feedback. 1. If re-architecting the information on the wiki is of interest to you, please let me know. 2. If you have feedback on the wiki from a first-timer's perspective you feel is useful for this task, please let me know!
