Regarding your second point, you are correct that we want to provide the ability to have "exclusions" as are allowed with the command line Builder (http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Custom+Build). However, this requires some significant designer cycles as the interface for this is not intuitive. The Infusion Builder as it stands now, provides basic functionality and is a great first step in that direction. People who need the extra functionality of exclusions will still need to use the command line tool (this may be something to add to the explanation on the website).

Really?? That's surprising (and really not intuitive). I guess I understand, though I wonder if the third-party stuff might be an exception to this. I thought that at least *part* of the motivation for a custom build tool was for the case of people who already have jQuery, and don't want to have to download another copy.
