I can also include a status code in the xml returned by the script, to
indicate if the email was successfully sent or not, if the email address
was invalid or not, etc.
For the moment, i have added a status attribute to the action node in
the xml echo, thusly :
<mycollection>
<language>en</language>
<action status="OK">add</action>
<email>[email protected]</email>
<artifacts>
<artifact id="48378" accessnumber="M976.188.1"/>
<artifact id="132144" accessnumber="VIEW-1998"/>
<artifact id="258261" accessnumber="PHA0046"/>
<artifact id="93232" accessnumber="M995.18.1"/>
<artifact id="110292" accessnumber="II-86447"/>
</artifacts>
</mycollection>
status = OK if email was successfully sent, ERROR otherwise (regardless
of the cause). Let me know if you need something more 'fine-grained'.

Hey,
Can we ensure there's a unit test in place for My Collection that verifies
we're sending the collection information to Hugues in the correct format?
Thanks,
Colin

The 'Send my collection by email' feature is now in place on the McCord site;
all that left to do on your end is to pass the collection info to the
myCollectionHandler.php located on our server.
