Hi Jonathan, One small suggestion would be to invert the star colour. I think darkened stars with solid grey colour (and grey borders) might help convey "filled stars" and white stars with grey borders might help convey unrated stars. It could be my apple-conditioned bias, but I associate dark with filled and light with empty in this context.
