Hi there Jonathan - sorry about the unexpected changes to the markup. Colin even particularly reminded me to ping you about them but I forgot in all the pre-release confusion. The text was added to the drag bars since we need to be able to lay hands on some text which identifies each particular portlet for the use of a screenreader when they navigate through them. This was for work on FLUID-3710. I thought in general it might be nice from the point of view of this overall design if the information were visible to sighted users too since this would aid maintenance and perhaps help them get around the page. The work implemented for 3710 is flexible and could take the label from some other part of the markup if you think it is ruining the design - that is, we could add it to some invisible area for the markup for each portlet. Let me know what you think -

The failure of the mouse dragging operation was fixed today.

Thanks,
Antranig.

Hi everyone,

The Layout Reorderer Demo appears to be broken:

Elements can not be dragged between columns.

I also noticed that text was added to the drag bar areas. This was not
in the original design and now this text overflows when viewed in a
small window. What was the reason for adding text into the drag bar areas?
