Hi all,

Many of you have heard of the Global Public Inclusive Infrastructure, an effort
to build open, personalized accessibility infrastructure for the web, desktop,
and mobile. You can read more about the project here:

http://gpii.net/

Much of the overall architecture and development work is being coordinated
under the umbrella of the Fluid community. We've got an excellent architecture
steering committee consisting of accessibility experts from industry and open
source, and we've put together a small development team to help out with the
Cloud4all project in Europe. You'll see quite a few familiar Fluidic faces on
this dev team, including Yura, Antranig, Kasper, and Steve Githens. We're very
much interested in new contributors, too!

To keep traffic on fluid-work low, we've set up a new GPII-focused architecture
and development mailing list:

http://lists.gpii.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/architecture

If you're interested in following or contributing to the GPII, you'll want to
sign up for this mailing list. If you've worked on past IDRC personalization
projects such as Web4All or TILE, I imagine you'll be especially interested in
following along and sharing your experience.
