We're working on some new documentation about how to evaluate web pages for accessibility and how to address common problems:
http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/docs/Quick-and-Dirty+Website+Accessibility+Tests+-+and+Fixes
The goal of this documentation is to be very easy to use, succinct and
practical. The focus is on describing simple ways to test for accessibility,
helping the reader recognize common problems and advising them on practical
ways to fix them.
We'd really appreciate community feedback on this documentation, including any
suggestions for expanding or improving it.
For example: In some places, we touch on the accessibility of dialogs and
pop-ups. We'd like to recommend existing widgets, but we're not sure which ones
to point to. What widgets would you suggest? Are there any other resources you
think we should link to? Have you seen other common problems we should add to
the list?
Please have a look and let us know what you think by contributing to this
thread.
