Hi everyone,

Jess and I--along with many other people in the community--have started to
sketch out a development and design roadmap for Fluid in 2013. We've worked to
try to ensure that there are direct connections between deliverables across our
various projects, such as Floe, Cloud4all, and the Preferences for Global
Access project.

A few key themes next year will include:

* A variety of user interfaces for editing preferences across applications and
contexts
* Tagging web-based content with metadata about its accessibility features,
learning characteristics, and more
* Reusable infrastructure for developers to integrate personalization features
into their own applications

In other words, UI Options, our GPII Preferences Server, and Open Educational
Resource authoring are all going to be big for us in 2013.

This roadmap is still very much in progress, hence the point form and lack of
framing narrative. But I think it's a pretty good starting point:

Let us know what you think,
