I happened to be taking a look at bootstrap (
http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/index.html ) the other day and noticed that
they use a tool for optimizing their image sizes. ImageOptim (
http://imageoptim.com ) is a free and open-source (GPL) mac app for optimizing
png, jpeg, and gif animations. We may want to consider using this for any of
those image formats that we use, since it should reduce storage space and
improve load times.

Thanks
Justin
