Last night I came across webpack. It's a module builder that also provides code
splitting functionality.
Here are their stated goals
Split the dependency tree into chunks loaded on demand
Keep initial loading time low
Every static asset should be able to be a module
Ability to integrate 3rd-party libraries as modules
Ability to customize nearly every part of the module bundler
Suited for big projects
I haven't done any in depth exploration of it yet, but wonder if it may be of
use to satisfy one of our future looking requirements of using require-style
code in production.
