only thing i can say is that if the site says it requires a specific version of IE, then the site is, well... crap. Fluid uses WebKit for rendering, so basically if you see a rendering issue you should first compare results with other webkit browsers: such as safari, shiira, omniweb and chrome. if the issue persists there as well, there's nothing i can do about it in Fluid... but webkit is open source and i'm sure you're welcome to jump in and try to improve compatibility with IE.
