I'll fourth that problem. Today is my first experience with Fluid, which seems like a great idea, but this bug makes Google Docs (at least the spreadsheet part of it) pretty unusable.
I have the latest Safari build 3.1.2 (5525.20.1) (not Webkit)and I am using Gears.
