Today my SSB for YouTube started opening new blank tabs like crazy. I opened the SSB and tried to watch a video, but it crashed. I restarted it, and the bug started when I tried to log in (Google account, if it matters). Opera then opened and said "required field empty" or something under the text boxes. I had set Opera as my default browser the other day to get around an unrelated bug and hadn't set it back yet. So I set YouTube as my default browser to get it to stay active when I tried to log in. I logged in successfully after a couple of tries, and all of a sudden new empty tabs started opening incredibly quickly. I used Cmd-W 600 times before I stopped counting. I built a Lego machine to push W for me, and got it down to 4 tabs, then closed the rest manually. As soon as I closed the window, it created a new one and started again. Always the first tab of the window was the YouTube homepage.
The interesting thing is that the with which it created tabs was greater the fewer tabs there were. I know this because I put my computer to sleep while this was happening, and when I woke it up, I had to type my password in one letter at a time because the SSB kept stealing the focus every 1.1 seconds or so. When I got it down to 4 tabs, it created new tabs at about 40 per second. This is probably related to the default-mail-app bug: http://groups.google.com/group/fluidapp/browse_thread/thread/fdb48aadda903b30/a8b61b42eea2f9c9?lnk=gst&q=tabs# --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "fluidapp" group.
