I use Fluid for Gmail other than this daily bug thats driving me crazy, I LOVE FLUID!
I'm experiencing a problem that the reply box expresses strange behaviour regarding the cursor placement. When I click Reply or use the google apps keyboard shortcut "r", the reply textarea is built correctly: i.e., the box expands, and is filled out with the quoted (>) email to which I'm replying. However the cursor placement has two problems: 1) the cursor appears JUST before the part of the previous email that says "On [date] at [time], [name] wrote:" on the same line! In all other browsers a new paragraph (or newline if you prefer) is inserted above, and the cursor appears on a line by itself. Note im using RTF mode 2) as soon as I start typing, the cursor jumps to the bottom of the text area below the quoted (>) original message. Every time I have to repeat the same movements: Click reply, then manually move the cursor back to the begining, hit return, then start typing my reply. This really bucks the tao WHY? because it works as expected in other browsers (Safari and Firefox). Additionally I've tested this by changing Fluid's UserAgent (to no success) between: Safari 3.2.1 - Mac (same errors as above) Safari 3.1.2 - Mac (same errors as above) Firefox 3.0.4 - Mac (gmail interface couldnt finish loading) Opera 9.2.5 - Mac (gmail interface couldnt finish loading) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "fluidapp" group.
