Update: If I uncheck Javascript from Security Preferences, CPU Usage drops to 4-5% from the previous 90-112%. So it seems to be some sort of runaway script in Gmail (unlikely since running Gmail in Safari is fine) or Fluid is handling a script strangely. For fun, unchecking Plugins brings the idle usage to 0.0-0.5% which is very nice.
Has anyone else experienced this? Turning off Javascript isn't the preferred solution Also, my logs did fill up a bit but only at 4:18, not sure what I was doing then.. 22/04/09 4:18:15 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:15 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextScaleCTM: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:15 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:15 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextGetCTM: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:15 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:15 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextSaveGState: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:15 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:15 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextConcatCTM: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:15 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:15 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextDrawImage: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:15 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:15 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextRestoreGState: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:15 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:15 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextRestoreGState: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:27 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:27 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextScaleCTM: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:27 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:27 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextGetCTM: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:27 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:27 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextSaveGState: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:27 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:27 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextConcatCTM: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:27 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:27 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextDrawImage: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:27 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:27 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextRestoreGState: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:38 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:38 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextScaleCTM: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:38 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:38 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextGetCTM: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:38 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:38 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextSaveGState: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:38 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:38 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextConcatCTM: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:38 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:38 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextDrawImage: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:38 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:38 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextRestoreGState: invalid context 22/04/09 4:18:38 PM [0x0-0x78b78b].com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.Gmail [36728] Wed Apr 22 16:18:38 Jordans-Macbook.local FluidInstance[36728] <Error>: CGContextRestoreGState: invalid context Jordan On Apr 22, 10:46 am, Jordan <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello td, > > I'm going to watch my system logs for anything out of the normal, but > I do not have Google Gear installed and I haven't been keeping the > Fluid app minimized or hidden either. > > I am using Safari Beta 4 though with Flash, ClickToFlash, and Safari > AdBlock. > > I'll keep you posted the logs start going nuts, but let me know if you > can guide my inspection at all > > Thanks, > Jordan > > On Apr 21, 7:22 pm, itod <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > > hi jordan, it sounds like you are prolly having this issue: > > >http://groups.google.com/group/fluidapp/browse_thread/thread/34dd949d... > > > do you have Google Gears installed? > > > td > > > On Apr 21, 4:19 pm, Jordan <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > Hi, > > > > I posted here before but had notifications turned off and now I can't > > > seem to find my post anymore.
