Actually, soccerdude21490 has a good point here. I'd actually like to
request this feature, too. I use Fluid for my Gmail webmail and the
way I work with similar native apps such as Mail.app and other instant
messengers is that I close their windows (Cmd + W) and just re-open
them when a notification badge and/or a growl notice comes out. When
you Cmd+W a Gmail + Fluid app, it effectively closes/unloads the
website, and notifications won't work. Makes having it as a separate
"app" a little useless when the window is closed, its basically just
occupying memory and not doing anything.

Simply put, I believe Fluid should have a way to close a window but
not actually "unload" the website. My workaround is that I just hide
the window, but I believe the Cmd+W should still be implemented in the
manner I am requesting, since Fluid is trying to make native apps out
of web apps, anyway.
