Greetings I am using Fluid with an app called Remote Buddy using the Ajax Remote loading in a fluid menubar item (http://www.iospirit.com/ products/remotebuddy/ajaxremote/)
The problem is when I am not on the local network that the remote is used with a javascript alert pops up over and over every few seconds telling me... "The WiFi connection has been interrupted, has dropped, Remote Buddy was quit or your session is no longer active." I realize this is not actually Fluids problem so much as the ajax app trying to reconnect... however is there a way fluid could have an option in prefs to ignore javascript alerts while not turning off javascript obviously since javascript is needed to run ajax. Or maybe a quick way from the menu item to stop /pause the page from running until back on the home network. At this time the only solution is to quit the fluid menu item and reload it... while it's not a huge problem it's not idea and also has the effect of always loading in some new place in the menubar since other status items may or may not be loaded. As well the javascript alert floats modal over all other windows. Thanks Edward -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "fluidapp" group.
