I'm experiencing major system freezes (mouse still moves but can't click on anything for a long period of time; then I gain control briefly, then it freezes some more; in the moments of responsiveness, I can quit all the apps I want - the problem only goes away when I quit my Gmail instance of fluid), only since the OS X 10.6.4 upgrade.
The consistent thing is that as soon as I quit my fluid instance, the system is once again fully responsive. If I don't have my fluid instance running, I don't get the problem. I therefore think the system freezes are directly related to my fluid instance. So: Q1 - does anyone else have this problem? Q2 - does anyone want me to do anything to prove/disprove the source of the problem? logs/? Q3 - does anyone know how to resolve it?
