Tom, 1Password (http://agilewebsolutions.com/) has Fluid support built- in. It works on most sites, but not, for instance, on FaceBook.
1Password is probably an expensive solution for this problem (although it is a _great_ product), but at least it demonstrates that what you want can be accomplished. It would be a nice enhancement for Fluid to have this capability.
