Hi Juhani,
thank you for your feedback. I've complete forgot that sinks are actively
polling channels in NG, so thank you very much for pointing this issue out.
I was originally thinking of complete independence of master sink on channels
or other entities in NG. My main intention here is that I would like to reuse
compound sink idea also for load balancing master sink (for example master sink
that would send events to all subsinks on round robin fashion). And the
ability to combine both load balancing and failover sinks together. For
example, you could imagine master failover sing that is having all children as
load balancing master sinks (so regular sinks would be actually on third level
if you can imagine the tree that I'm building). I'm not sure that would be
needed, but it would be definitely wonderful :-).
