I didn't look deep into the failure, I just noticed the NoClassFoundExceptions
and was speculating wildly, sorry.
Your planned changes sound good, and with them I think this should be g2g
Fwiw, my dev machine is fedora and I run the tests through eclipse there. My VM
is a more or less clean CentOS 6.2 machine.
