I did from starting like as below.
step 1:
I have executed the below command, after that turnk flolder has been
created.

root@flume:/usr/local/flume_dir# svn checkout

step 2: $git clone git://git.apache.org/flume.git

after run the command i am getiing the below error.

root@flume:/usr/local/flume_dir# git clone git://git.apache.org/flume.git
Cloning into flume...
git.apache.org[0: 192.87.106.249]: errno=Connection refused
fatal: unable to connect a socket (Connection refused)
root@flume:/usr/local/flume_dir#
Please suggest how can i go next step.?
