Re: Paperworks, the envelop by Maciunas. When I visited George
at his place in Pittsfield, Mass in the late summer of 1976 he showed
me several paperworks. One was a number 10 envelop, probably a
light gray with a light gray image of a glove printed on the outside.
Inside was a piece of the same color paper with a light gray imgae of
a hand printed on it. he gave me a copy and several other works of his
which I have subsequently lost. -Don Boyd, Fluxus West

P.S. This is not "carelessness on my part but rather, "caring too much."

I seem to have a recurring trait of putting things that are important to
me
in strange and secretive places and then not being able to find them
again. My family tell a story of when I was about 2 1/2 or 3 years old
I was given a small toy carpenter's tool set. I immediately took it out
behind or beside my father's grocery store and buried it using some
of the tools. I never played with the set and never was able to find it
again, so they say.
