living in austria and being deeply concerned about the recent political
changes i'd like to tell the following to fluxlist.
i welcome every protest against the austrian government. if you want to act
right now please send (i hope it will be lots) emails to chancellor wolfgang
schuessel "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" and protest against his coalition
with joerg haiders party.
please support the people, initiatives, artists etc. in austria who are
against this government. support exhibitions and cultural initiatives which
are against this government but boycott anything which has this government
involved.
haiders party got 28% of the votes in the last election - which is really
too much anyway - but i hope you will support the the people who did not
vote for him and do not tolerate his xenophobic politics.
i am glad that there is so much international protest against our new
government; it makes haiders influence in austrias politics mabe less easy.
the international protest is an important support for the people in austria
who are against the politics of the new government.
