Here's a meagre try for the book of snow.

Snow Couplet

Flower petals of snowflake
  Clothe landscape, quiet flora
Frozen cold will transform to liquid warm
  Now life is shrouded, waiting
Yet the cats chase one another inside
   out of the cold
They prefer symmetry in food to antithesis in poems.
