Hello, I apologize for the non-Fluxus nature of this post, but I know the people on this list know a lot about all forms of art. I am looking for any information on a Hungarian choreographer named Josef Nagy. He might not be Hungarian, and that might not be his name. I have had no luck finding information through Search engines. I saw a segment about his work on a series on the history of dance that ran on PBS a year ago. The work presented had 4 dancers, all dressed in slacks/sport jackets, performing, complicated, obviously well-throughtout maneuvers where they would run across the stage in a group, with shoulders touching, turn, one would be picked up by two and then chase the fourth across the stage. They'd stop as one, the one being chased would turn around and begin to force his way past the three. Someone would fall flat to the floor. It's difficult to describe the fast pace, seriousness and kinetic energy of the clip I saw. It wasn't "dance"-like at all, no wasted or superfluous movements, no silly toe-pointing or arm-stretching. It was very powerful and I can't get the images out of my head. Can someone help me? -Josh Ronsen http://www.nd.org/jronsen
