Subject: Old Shoes Needed
Date: Thu, Mar 23, 2000, 11:05 AM

Help! We need SHOES!

The Colorado Silent March has set an ambitious agenda of illustrating
the toll of
gun violence by having a display of shoes to represent the number of
youth and
children killed by guns in a year's time.

Unfortunately, that number is over 4000, so we need MANY MANY shoes.
You
can help us immensely by dropping off extra pairs of shoes at any of the
following
locations. Gathering shoes from neighbors and friends will be very
helpful. Please do this as soon as possible, so we can breathe easier!

Shoes can be any style, size (child/juvenile/adult), or condition and
can
be left in a box placed at any of the following locations (please tie
the shoelaces of each pair together). If you need more information,
send an email to mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] or call either 303-792-9900
or 303-377-7697:
