Well maybe there's nothing we can do?
I wrote to FranceNet (as I call them) this afternoon to ask them (in my poor
French) if they were aware of Fluxus and the history of the name. I'll post
any replies I get to the list.
Maybe others should do this too. Even if we don't have a legal case I'm
curious to see how these people got the name. Also because they referred to
themselves as Groupe Fluxus I wonder.
Let's see what response we get.
I agree with Ken about avoiding the courts for the reasons given but
this is still an important
net issue especially because our own Allen Bukoff has fluxus.org .
I think the net art community will be interested in this.
