Yeah. But you don't know what you've got until it's gone.
The good thing about private property is that people always have greater
incentives to keep their own stuff clean - and to take better care of it,
especially if they've had to work their ass off to get it like I work
my ass off to get what I privately own. Public housing is a joke and
a complete misappropriation of my tax money.
I always have to laugh when I hear that stupid John Lennon song, "Imagine"...
especially when he sings "Imagine no possessions..." And what was the value
of his estate at the time of his death? Give me a break. And I'm a *big*
fan of John Lennon and of Yoko, so... The way I see it, everybody's big on
talking down private property ownership except when it comes to their own.
