Project X 1497-1999 is a poetry-multimedia installation exploring discovery, technology and colonialism through Vasco da Gama's first voyage from Portugal to South Asian. It's a journey into the dislocation of history, culture and identity within a contemporary landscape, and features work by damian lopes and Roark Andrade. The show runs until June 17. The latter was nominated for the Gerald Lampert award for best first book of poetry.
