Dear Artists, here is an open call for artists for next year's 2nd Wednesday programming. Please feel free to forward it to anyone you think might be interested. We will be featuring mostly Bay Area artists since our travel money is limited...-Pam Winfrey Open Call for Artist Projects The Exploratorium is creating its 2nd Season of 2nd Wednesdays. This evening series presents artists and artworks in a lively atmosphere that takes advantage of the environs of the Exploratorium. We are looking for visual, sound, performance, animation, and media artists who can participate in a number of ways. Our series begins next November and goes until May of 2001. We need artists who can create edible art, have pieces that are "air oriented" (in other words float, blow or are otherwise involved with air), ice artists, artists who have fashions created out of recycled materials, and sound artists who are interested in helping us "prepare" the Exploratorium and turn it into a giant instrument.
