Great review, Patricia! I saw the show at the Walker, and what I really
liked was the film work, some great stuff, assembled found footage, some
footage presented on editing machines and handcranked reels, beautiful
explosive imagery, and one of a dancer that was so dated and charming,
_my_ olden days.
I had to do the review of the irritating Gober show, and didn't do a
review of this one, worse luck. It woulda beena lot more fun.
By the way, I didn't like his (actually better-known, I think)
assemblage sculpture. That stuff doesn't wear well at all. The tiny
inkblot stuff was truly sweet, though.
