Went to the Farmers' Market at the Ferry Plaza on the Embarcadero in San
Francisco. It's definitely upscale: 'delightful' presentations of produce.
But the best breakfasts I've had in the city. I also purchased a Hog
Island Oyster Co cap which has the added benefit of yielding a free
shucked oyster every time I visit. Also: a sampler box of 24 different
homemade jams/jellies from a farm in Antioch: a gift for my parents' 50th
anniversary. Recorded the sounds of the Autumn Moon (Chinese) Festival
downtown. Lost my windscreen. Bought some very cheap but beautiful gold
round bristle brushes.
