three artists who often produce technologically similar works have been invited to interact on their own terms at the basekamp site. the result is buffered, a new exhibition by aaron igler, justin matherly, and eric mcdade. the format of the show, an interconnected network of separate spaces containing image and audio installations, was generated collaboratively by the artists. yet each has been able to retain individual authorship within this framework through a focus on their own respective projects. the work as a whole is a formal and theoretical amalgam of both isolation and interactivity.
