Also, I understand (again, thru Eric Theise) that the
reason the Fine Arts Museums have so much of Cage's work
is because Crown Point used to be in Oakland, across the
Bay, and their facility was badly damaged in the 1989
earthquake. The understanding is that Crown Point struck a

deal with the Museums so that the Museums got the full
Crown Point archive - preparatory work, trial proofs, one
(or more) of everything that was and is to come and
Crown Point got enough money to buy the huge building
they're in, move all their presses over, etc.
