yes, thanks! at 16kbps it only takes up 90kb for 45 sec.,
but it sounds like doo-doo on a ny street. at 32kbps
(180kb), it's sound quality improves to more like doo-doo
on a stick.
to the rest of you:
this FreeRip thing is the cat's meow (he says in his
naivete). listen to sol. it's easy to download and for
someone who can't really spend much time with this - it's
really easy. i've got the MP3 book for dummies, but just
haven't gotten around to crackin' it open, so i suppose
that i now have no excuses when asked whether my work is
online...
aLSO SOL: If you go to the top and click "CD", then go to
"Options", you have a choice of ripping to .wav or MP3
instantly and not having to go *thru* one to the other (but
you probably knew that).
o.k., back to your regularly scheduled program (before it
was so rudely interrupted)...
