Thanks for the info. I was never concerned about my
catching anything, but rather the places that I wouldn't be
able to go (like, for example, the Lake District or Cumbria
in general).
I believe you concerning the political/economic farce. I've
heard all kinds of stories: that it spread from a farm in
Northern England where pigs were fed swill - that its
source is a Chinese takeaway somewhere in England, and on,
and on... Aside: funny...it used to be called "hoof and
mouth" - remember the movie "Hud"?
I usually have been keeping to mostly London, but this time
would like to do more outer area exploring. I'm suppose to
be meeting up with someone who's with Germany's WDR and a
concert organizer, but I don't have an exact date yet on
his arrival. I'll let you know when I go this time. The
walk sounds like a nice idea - I'll have my binaural mics!
