It doesnt seem to difficult to make such a thing.
Maybe you did allready some prototypes.
A filesystem and wavs. We could tree it, in the
Greatfull Dead and Mileslist tradition: you are the head,
some people with a burner are branches. CDRoms are extremly
cheap, to send a CD isnt very expensiv. Well, there is no unique
design, but lot of stuff for historians after we give our
things to archives.
Branches should get gifts by leaves. Other CDRoms, whatever they want.
Who has a burner ?
Me. But I dont have much money, german post is very expensive ;.)
Maybe we could have european braches and american. And some kind of a
piece of paper, to be put into the jewel box or whatever. Maybe Sol can
print labels ? ;-)<
Owen has all the files and I believe was planning on producing something
with them but time probably ran out on him. I have access to two burners at
work and have label making equipment so would be happy enough to make copys
from a disc image. However I'll leave it to Owen to say whether the files he
has are in a form suitable to go ahead. Owen I remember you had problems
with some of the archive files? We could always share a disc image via ftp.
cheers,
Sol.
