Omigod!

i just had a look at this abebook page (well, better late than never).

When I was very little, my mother took me to the MOMA to see this show. I
fell madly, insanely, in love with the project (I was like, eight, maybe
ten). I desperately wanted the full set of cards but my usually
overindulgent mum, for some reason or another, didn't procure them. I don't
remember if there was no complete set available or if the set was cost
prohibitive (she was a NYC public school teacher, not an industrialist), but
I've thought about those hundred boots many, many times since then.

No one I've ever known (till now) had ever seen the show. I, being a wee
tyke back then and a total burnout now, would never have remembered the name
of the artist involved.

Thirty years after the fact, you've accidentally recovered a piece of my
childhood I was beginning to think I might have hallucinated.

Too bad the cards are $85 per.

But thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you....
