What I was trying to get at was some notion of how the event score could be
used in an online environment. Certainly the question of whether the sites
would be linked is interesting. I don't think they'd have to be. My text
above was considering a score for some form of online activity (in this case
a web site). The point would be that anyone could perform the score and thus
realise the work by creating the website described in it. There would be no
need to link the sites in the same way that the many live
performances/recordings of works by Beethoven, Mozart etc. have no link
other than the fact that the work is recreated from the score at each
performance/recording and is thus realised by many people over the course of
time and furthermore is infinitely realisable providing the score is always
accessible.
