I'd like to propose this challenge to any FluxLister who frequently finds
him/herself in traffic of any intensity:
Buy a bottle of children's soap bubbles (USD$.59, approx.) and keep it in
your car.
Next time you find yourself in traffic, blow bubbles out the window.
I did this in both Durham, NC and Richmond, VA on my trip back from the
Atlanta area (didn't have the bubbles in Atlanta; more's the pity) and got
"thumbs up" from most folks, strange looks from others. Now that I'm back,
I'll try this in my hometown.
Maybe I'll also wear a clown nose....
Anyway, I found it meditative and amusing, and sent each volley of bubbles
out to my fellow drivers with good thoughts.
