Yes, I meant the band Low, who are from this little town of Duluth. There is a
certain climate of invention here that involves Low and Alan Sparhawk and etc,
and If Thousands (a duo of manipulators of all sorts of sound and music making
type objects and inflectors, such as the obligatory laptop, tiny old cassette
recorders, etc etc, but who also play, in a kind of way, electric guitars while
sort of hanging upside down) are part of this. I find their stuff quite
fascinating. You may want to get some, though of course it is quite different in
person from the CD version, mucho narrower amplitude you know so that if you
listen to it on CD it is a kind of notation of what, in person, is an enactment.
