Hi, Carol
Regarding your scanner difficulties.
Here's how it works.
Place thing to be scanned in the bit that does
the scanning.
Find button marked "scan" and press
it.
If it does not scan check that it is plugged in and
that there is electricity
flowing through it. There's usually a little light
somewhere which tells you this.
If you can't find the little light look in the
manual.(There should be a manual with it.) (Not look for the light IN the
manual, obviously. There won't be a little light there.) Or else you can check at night by turning all other lights off and then
seeing if there's one glowing on the scanner.
(You'll need the lights tho' to read the manual.)
Anyway, when you press the "scanner" button there
will be lots of whirring noises.
Don't worry. This is normal.
Look at your computer screen and you should see the
thing you scanned there.
Did I mention that you have to plug the scanner in
to the computer?
Actually, having the computer "on" could affect the
little light which will tell you if
the scanner is on. It might be best to check that
BEFORE you turn the computer on.
Anyway, good luck with your scanning.
Hope this helps.
