>Call me pedantic. (Pause for you to say pedantic) but I'm subscribing to the digest and keep getting things in triplicate. Long long messages repeated over and over again... do I just have to put up with this (which I'm happy to do) or is there something my browser doesn't do that others do.<
Hi Pete, Unfortunately the digest form of the list just compiles whatever is sent to the list and sends it out as a collection every time the size of the messages reaches a certain amount. If people send the same long e-mail to the list more than once then you end up with the current situation where you can have a digest that just consists of 2 copies of the same long message. Unfortunately the digest function of majordomo is not clever enough to filter out duplicate e-mails so it is up to list members to be responsible and only send single copies of their e-mails(especially long ones) to the list. Hope that answers your question. cheers, Sol.
